RENTING THE ARTISTS' HOUSE 

Between the program periods the Schießl-Haus can be rented by private individuals and companies – for artistic-creative projects, workshops, workations and other professional meetings, or for private vacations in the hiking and skiing region of the Bavarian Forest.

The Schießl-Haus is a historic „Waldlerhaus“ in Kollnburg in the Bavarian Forest. Located in the middle of the village, the architectural monument is, after professional renovation, one of the sights of the castle village. It was awarded the Monument Prize of the District of Lower Bavaria in 2019 and the Bavarian Medal for the Protection of Monuments in 2020. Since 2022, the award-winning house is used as an international artists’ residence. The house has a cozy living room with wood-burning stove, a fully equipped kitchen with seating area, a bathroom, a separate toilet, three spacious bedrooms/private rooms, including one room with its own sink and separate sleeping quarters, and a large, light-flooded studio. In addition to its use for artistic purposes, the studio lends itself as a work and meeting space. Garden and balcony are oriented to the Southeast and frame the outdoor areas of the house.
