ARTISTS’ RESIDENCE IN THE BAVARIAN FOREST

SCHIESSLHAUS AiR is an artists’ residence with a publicly funded artist in residence program – a studio house for professional artists and at the same time a cultural venue – in the historic monument "Schießl-Haus" in Kollnburg, Bavarian Forest. The AiR project consists of an international Artist-in-Residence Program and a Public Education and Participation Program with exhibitions, lecture series, workshops, artist talks and open studios.

Since 2022, the artist in residence program SCHIESSLHAUS AiR takes place in Kollnburg. The Bavarian Forest is a place for artistic inspiration, interaction and intervention.

ARTIST IN RESIDENCE-PROGRAM

The residency program is process-oriented: it focuses on time, space and encounter. It seeks to inspire open-ended interdisciplinary dynamics, exchange and dialogue, participation and reflection.

OPEN CALL

We are looking for artists and creatives from the fields of art, design, music, literature, architecture, film, theater, crafts, and other creative areas with a participatory approach who are interested in working with children and young people to create a lively space for artistic expression and social debate.
